I finally bench pressed 100lbs for 5×3 sets/reps. Felt amazing! Took me awhile to get there, but I did it. I remember over a year ago I couldn’t even bench 100lbs for 1 rep, let alone 5x 3.
My squats did not go so well however. I think my glute muscles forget to work and I use my quads/groin more and then pull my groin. It’s annoying the hell out of me. I hope Wednesday goes better than tonight.
I have so much going on in my life right now I need to make sure I set aside time to go to the gym. It’s basically therapy for me, especially when it goes well, like when I reach the goals that I am striving towards and not injuring myself. Getting injuries depresses me.
